"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."
Proverbs 27:17
Our focus in our Men's Ministry at MCC is on making men, wherever they are in their spiritual life, into mature disciples of Jesus Christ so that they may shepherd their families. We desire to see men equipping other men to be the spiritual leaders in their homes, their work, their church, and in the world to the praise of His glory. We are deeply concerned about the disconnect that exists today between men and church. We believe the solution to this disconnect in marriage, home, fathering and church is to build our men up in the Word of God.
The Men's Ministry at MCC seeks to reach men in the following ways:
Discipleship Groups - Men meeting regularly for Bible study, accountability, and prayer. See our announcements page to view our weekly schedule.
Our Men’s D-Group meets on Thursday mornings at 6:30am in Room 1206. This group is currently studying Gospel Treason: Betraying The Gospel With Hidden Idols by Brad Bigney.
Conferences/retreats - Opportunities to gather with men for fellowship and discipleship.
Events - Opportunities for fellowship and outreach at special events. See more detailed information in the announcements or our worship handout.
