Whether you have questions about God or have mature faith in the gospel, all are welcome to join us for worship and discipleship on Sunday or groups on Wednesday. We are eager to meet you and help you connect. We trust the following information will help you plan your visit and know what to expect.

What to expect

About our people

Sunday morning attendance is between 100 and 150 people. Dress trends toward business-casual, though you may see bluejeans and one or two suits or dresses. We are friendly and you can expect several of the people sitting around you to introduce themselves. We are a diverse group with multiple generations (from babies to senior adults), various ethnicities, and many backgrounds and interests.

upon your ARRIVal

On Sunday morning we have plenty of parking at the front of our property and along the left side of our building. You may enter the building on the main level through the worship center (auditorium) front doors or downstairs at the side door marked “Church Office.” Greeters will welcome you at either set of doors and direct you to the right place. We have bathrooms available on both levels, and we have an elevator for easy access between floors.

FOR YOUR CHILDREN

Children and teenagers may attend an age-graded Sunday School class during our discipleship hour. Then, they join us for Morning Worship. We offer a nursery for infants through pre-k during Sunday School and Morning worship. You are always welcome to bring your children with you for part or all of Morning Worship. We encourage parents to actively parent in the pew and intentionally train their children to participate in corporate worship. We also have a children's worship guide and backpacks available that can help your child follow along and stay engaged.

ABOUT OUR MUSIC

We seek to worship God in Spirit and truth. We sing a variety of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, both old and new. We carefully select songs that are doctrinally accurate, theologically meaningful, and support congregational singing. We are more concerned about worship that honors God and directs our affections to him than a particular musical style or preference. We encourage everyone to sing, and we have a few instruments: piano, guitar, drums, bass, and more.

DURING our WORSHip

We start with announcements and a call to worship. Then, the whole congregation sings three or four songs. We listen to Scripture being read, and we hear prayers offered on our behalf. We cherish expository preaching. Our pastor preaches through the Bible book-by-book and verse-by-verse so we can understand what it means and apply it to our lives. Sermons usually last around 45 minutes. After the preaching, we conclude with a song and a benediction. On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper and recite various creeds and confessions.

AFTER THE SERMON

Guests are invited to meet our pastor and his wife in the church lobby after Morning Worship. You may also visit the welcome area in the lobby and receive a small gift. Our church is like an extended family. People hang around the building to talk and enjoy fellowship with each other. It is not uncommon for our people to share lunch together. You may even get invited to join them.
